About King of Jordan

In 1994 Abdullah assumed command of Jordan’s Special Forces. In 1998 he become a major general. Abdullah is very famous internationally and locally for maintaining Jordanian stability. He began his schooling at Islamic Educational College in Amman in 1966. He attended high school at Deerfield Academy and Eaglebrook School in the United States.

In 1982, he was admitted to Pembroke College, Oxford and completed Middle Eastern affairs one year special study course. In 1980 he started his military career at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. In 1973 he visit to Royal Jordanian Air Force headquarters at the age of eleven. He has completed his advanced study and research in international affairs from Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
